When it comes to roofing much will depend on the quality and expense of the material purchased at the outset. Paul will only use good quality, including galvanised slates and lat/batten nails. All the battens Paul uses are tanalised which extends their life significantly and the felt used is breathable so when your loft is insulated it stops the roof from sweating.
